Bye Bye CTM

 LAST WEEK IN THE CTM!?!?

Next time you here from me, I'll officially be in Salvador (or somewhere around there)

I have LOVED my time in the CTM. Would not change it for the world. However, liberdade is also sounding pretty nice.

Plenty of highlights, but our p-day is approximately 30 seconds today, so ya

- a couple byu friends came to the ctm this week! It was soo awesome to see them!!

- Irmão Zarza told us his favorite movie was guardians of the galaxy. And when sister Johnson asked how they say "I am groot" he may or may not have pulled up the trailer on youtube so we could experience "Eu sou grootche" in a super high pitched voice. We were dying of laughter.

- we had our last temple trip! Both of our instructors got to come with us, which was really cool. They have been such a blessing to me at the ctm. We laugh our heads off with Irmão Zarza, and Irmã lisbôa quite literally wipes away our tears. Forever thankful for both of them!!

- one tender mercy this week is that I've been able to talk to a few people about my mission! I met a random girl in the temple who told me about one of the sisters there, and then Irmão Paes talked to me about my mission president, and then my comp showed me some pictures of her friend serving there rn. Super small things, but they just made me so freaking happy! I am so so excited to go meet all these people!!

- this week sister harden and I prepared a lesson on faith, hope, and charity (and too bad we didn't actually have to give it bc it was bomb diggity). But one of the quotes I liked was about hope from Dieter F. Utchdorf, "hope is not knowledge, but rather the abiding trust that the Lord will fulfill His promise to us. It is confidence that if we live according to His laws and the words of His prophets now, we will receive desired blessings in the future. It is believing and expecting that our prayers will be answered. It is manifest in confidence, optimism, enthusiasm, and patient perseverance." I'm so excited to see all the miracles and blessings awaiting me and the people in Salvador!!

I'll be heading to my mission in the wee hours of the morning this Friday! It will be sad goodbye to my instructors and district. We've grown sooo close. But I am so so excited for the field (and so so nervous and scared, but we're not focusing on that).

Do we need liberdade?? Yes, I think we might be going insane
Is the portuguese ready?? Ummm we're definitely gaslighting ourselves into thinking it is, but either way...
SALVADOR HERE I COME BABY!! BOOYAAA

life is good :)
love you all
