OIIIII MEUS AMIGOS!! Here's an insight into the last 2 weeks crammed into bullet points of max and garcia taking on the crazy Bahians. Highlights!! - "o diabo é porco" (the devil is a pig) This is the phrase we say everything something goes wrong. - Found a spider on the back of my tag. Not okay. - got to play futebol!! - we got on the bus and realized that we didn't have enough money. So we sat on the ground counting our literal pennies to try and make 12R. We didn't have enough money, but ya know, gave the bus driver a little wink (and he probably felt so bad for us) and he let us through. - I saw a recent-convert on the street from my very first area! It was so awesome to see her again!  - we kept trying to visit a guy that went to church last week, but he was never home. Friday night we were in the chapel, and decided to try again. Happy happy week! Not because anything too special happened, but because it was just a good week - the dudes from BonCom in Brasil came to our mission and filmed a few adds and I got to make a few which was fun! Also out of nowhere they knew my sister who works for BomCom in the US! - clapped so so many freaking doors this week - housed the sisters going home for their last few days, so you already know that meant pizza and festas. - we (by "we" I mean "I") put on a ward game night! I was super stressed that we wouldn't have enough games to play, so I bought things for like 5 games. And then they just spent the whole night playing a game that didn't require any of the things I bought. (Another proof that you can't buy happiness) But it was seriously one of the funnest nights here. - President J. Ruben Clark "Hold fast to the blessings God has provided for you.   HIGHLIGHTSSSS:  - got to see the Bahia soccer stadium!!  - made arepas at irmão Mardel's to celebrate his birthday!  - had to go to the bank to get sister Garcia's card fixed and experienced the real life zootopia dmv scene, bank style. And we didn't even get it fixed. - somehow sister Johnson and I got absolutely poured on while we were inside an uber. Literally inside an uber. We did not roll the windows up fast enough.  - had an absolutely amazing lesson with a media reference. The only downside was that it was a 2 hour walk to get there lol. But we're pretty desperate for anything in this area, so yes we will be going back this week. - We had transfers this week...... and I'll be staying in Lauro de Freitas with my comp sister Garcia!! Not gonna lie when I saw transfer news, I got more scared to stay than to leave. I felt like I've done everything in this area that I can and that it's time to switch it up.
