The count down begins

FOLKS WE ARE IN THE LAST COUNTDOWN! 1 MONTH FROM TODAY OUR TEMPLO OPENS UP!!!!!!! WE ARE FREAKING OUT OVER HERE!! But until that day, here are the highlights: - The chacos are now the equivalent of nearly headless nick. I know, I didn't think it was possible either. But proud to say that the tan line is so burned into my skin that it is a tattoo now. - I talked to our investigator's dad who was speaking drunk portuñol and the gift of tongues was not working. - we participated in our ward's festa julina, which sounds like a party, right? However our zone decided to do a fast right on that day. But we had a fun time stealing a bunch of food to save for the post-fast 90 minute walk to lunch. - we had recent converts come to church yesterday!! (Why is that harder post-baptism than pre?) Hellooooo my loves! Welcome back to another recap of life in the bahia!!  Highlights!!  - Larissa's baptism!! We went to her house last Wednesday to do a drop lesson, and right when we walked in her house she said "I want you guys to meet my brother and help him so he can be baptized with me." Sister Campos and I were in shock. She called her brother and taught him basically everything over facetime in 20 minutes. We marked her baptism for Saturday, and after some ups and downs and açai, she was baptized! Sister Campos gave her an old missionary tag and she wore it the whole night!  - Did a split with my girl Sister Vargas! We've been asking for that companionship for a year now and finally got 24 hours. - transfers!!! Said goodbye to brotas! Tchau tchau city life. I'm headed back to the interior where life is slower and horses are used as common transportation. Here we go Nova Vitoria!  - aaaand my new comp is cute Sister Dintof!
