Mais Uma :)
HIGHLIGHTSSSS:
- got to see the Bahia soccer stadium!!
- made arepas at irmão Mardel's to celebrate his birthday!
- had to go to the bank to get sister Garcia's card fixed and experienced the real life zootopia dmv scene, bank style. And we didn't even get it fixed.
- somehow sister Johnson and I got absolutely poured on while we were inside an uber. Literally inside an uber. We did not roll the windows up fast enough.
- had an absolutely amazing lesson with a media reference. The only downside was that it was a 2 hour walk to get there lol. But we're pretty desperate for anything in this area, so yes we will be going back this week.
- We had transfers this week...... and I'll be staying in Lauro de Freitas with my comp sister Garcia!! Not gonna lie when I saw transfer news, I got more scared to stay than to leave. I felt like I've done everything in this area that I can and that it's time to switch it up. But obviously God has other plans. As sister Crowther said, somebody is anxiously awaiting me and Garcia here. Guess we just have to find out who. But while I was in my "oh crap I wanted to leave, what more can I do here?" mode, I prayed my heart out and read some scriptures that really comforted me. D&C 35:3 (really the whole chapter, but here's my favorite verse) "Behold, verily, verily, I say unto my servant Si(y)dney, I have looked upon thee and thy works. I have heard thy prayers, and prepared thee for a greater work." I know that God knows us perfectly. He hears our prayers and is perfectly aware of us and our situations. He loves us infinitely. And He has prepared us for a work far greater than we can imagine. #100batimosemmarço
