Nao entendi nada

 sorria estamos na bahia:)

Highlightsss
- Our water decided to shut off for 3 days, which was an adventure. Our showers were sponsored by Irmã Iracy and an empty house down the street for a few days. Just imagine us marching down the Brazilian road with our towels and soap, and I'm sure whatever you're imagining is exactly what it looked like.

- We ran into our investigator's father who claims to be a prophet again (from last week). We were in the park contacting and he was there preaching. We had a little silent battle for investigators. And at one point we were praying with some people we met and we could hear him in the background yelling some Jesus preacher stuff. Only fun times here.

- Last pday we got to play sooo much soccer!! (And let's just say sister elescano and I played against 2 young men members of the ward and absolutely kicked their booties)

- We also had stake conference yesterday! It was in a different city about 30 minutes away, so our ward rented a bus to get everyone there. President and Sister Martins spoke in the conference, and it was so good.

- This week has had many ups and downs with the Portuguese. One day when I felt like I was really struggling with the language, Irmã Iracy complemented my Portuguese and gave me a "wow the gift of tongues is real!". And a few days later, feeling confident with the Portuguese, I responded to a question the bishop's wife asked. Her response was a blank stare and "não entendi nada" (I didn't understand anything). So ya, highs and lows.

- We were talking to this guy and his friend (who is a very inactive member) on the street one day about Jesus (obviously). And we start to explain that we really believe that Jesus is at the head of our church guiding it. And then, this friend, who has been inactive for like 20 years, starts to testify of it too and help us explain it to the other dude. It was so cool. We then invited them both to church. They said no lol. But it was still cool.

- Honestly, getting to be a missionary really is awesome. It's so cool that I get to share my testimony every single day represent Jesus Christ every day. It really is a privilege. I know that Christ is my Savior and He knows exactly what I'm going through all the time. I know He loves each one of us. And I am grateful for Him everyday.

life is good :)
love you all
