too many festas

 hellooooo fambam!!

highlights:)
- sister Elescano got kissed on the head by our veryyyy drunk investigator
- the wind blowing when we take a break at the top of a hill to drink some water (God is real)
- someone showed up to English class!
- bishop calling us at 8:30 pm before we go home to give us pastels
- had the cops pull up outside of a members house when we were visiting and Sister Elescano and I had some fond memories/flashbacks to the tiroteiros in parque da cidade

- Celebrated the birthdays of 2 members this week! Birthdays happen all the time, but these visits were special. Both of them didn't have any plans for their bdays. So we visited, talked, and ate cake with them. And hopefully made their bday a little more special and happy.

- We had some major miracles with Marli this week. We had asked her to pray a few times about all the things we were teaching her, and she wasn't doing it. So finally on Thursday, Elescano made her pray right during the middle of our lesson. We all kneeled down, she prayed, and at the end of the prayer she said she wanted to come to church!

- spiritual thought: 2 Nephi 22:2 "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation." This week I've been focusing more on doing the work not out of routine, but because I love my Savior. Because He is my strength and my song. Because only through him comes eternal life and eternal joy. And focusing on my love for Christ this week has brought so much more joy. So ya, I love my Savior.

life is good :)
love you all
