Cade a luz?

3rd edition of sydney week in quotes. You're welcome :)

- "vou destickyar" (I'm going to destickize myself): all of us, every night

- "Jesus Christ better be coming back soon because this is our 3rd day of darkness" (we lost energy last Tuesday. We told the elder in charge of the houses that night and in true Brazil fashion, Wednesday was too soon to fix it, oh shoot Thursday's a holiday, and woops its the weekend already, so here we are 1 week later, still sem luz (and fans rippy rip)) (but on the plus side got to bring out the headlamp)

- "ooo que fofinho" (ooo how cute): my comp every time she sees a cat (about every 10 yards) (but we love her for it)

- "max, can you open up the window for the pizza?" We started out the week by buying an absolutely massive pizza for sister Bueno's birthday, which only fit through the window.

- Our area has a ton of inactive members. Like I think we run into at least 1 person everyday who says "I was baptized into your church", but we only have about 40-50 people in church every week. This means that we end up having a lot of lessons on the Sacrament and how important it is to renew our baptismal covenants. And lately we've been showing all these inactive members the video "That They do Always Remember Him" in gospel library. And it is soo good. You should all go watch it. We had a super awesome experience with it this week teaching Jean. The spirit was super duper strong, and at the end he said the sweetest prayer.

- And the sacrament has been on my mind a lot lately. It's literally an ordinance that ties us right to the power of Christ's Atonement. The opportunity to start over, not just when we are baptized, but every single week. And then also thinking that the same hands that performed miracles, healed people, brought people back from the dead, and cast out evil spirits, also broke the bread and poured the wine to establish the sacrament for us. I'm started to really really appreciate the 1 hour every week of sacrament meeting to reflect, renew, and restart. Anywhoosure there's the sydney thoughts for the week...

life is good:)
love you all
