The Talking Donkey

BOM DIA GENTE!!

highlights:
- somehow hit 6 months in the mish?! Wildness

- We were on the phone with a media reference and she was asking us so many questions. It was about missionary work and the church, and then out of nowhere she started talking about that one story in the Bible with the talking donkey. Let's just say that somehow I remembered the one time my dad mentioned that story in some come follow me lesson who knows when and was able to make a few comments on it. The holy ghost really does bringing things back to memory, things that were buried way deep in there.

- the town has officially started decorating for Christmas!! This crazy town is about to get crazier

- power got fixed! Hallelujah! Never slept better than that first night back with a fan

- we had some great lessons and some great activities with the ward!!

- tarde familiar in Mata!! (aka my favorite time of the week) It is always so special. This week we had about 19 people show up, which included members, inactive members, and investigators. We sang, partook of the sacrament, and shared a message on Elder Soares's general conference talk, 'brothers and sisters in Christ'. It's been so special for me to see so many inactive members take their time to come to this tarde familiar to reconnect with God and with friends. We had one inactive member show up randomly yesterday and shared the sweetest experience with us from when he was on his mission. God really do be real.

- we also had zone conference this week! I love being with all the missionaries! We talked a lot about how important it is for us to always have the spirit with us. Which is so so true. My Portuguese still is very mediocre, but I have learned that the spirit is the teacher and the testifier. All I have to do is try my best and do my part, and God will do the rest.
Mosias 3:19 "for the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticing of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and become the a saint through the Atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which thr Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father."

life is good :)
love you all
