Oi Gente

bom diaaaaa

highlights from the sydney week:

- I participated in my first ward council meeting this week. It was quite the experience of basically spending 90 minutes arguing over who's gonna bring the feijão and spaghetti to the ward lunch.

- Interviews with president this week might have been one of my favorite moments on the mish so far. It went something like this: pres: "Ok sister max I have 1 more favor to ask of you" me: "let's hear it" pres: *pulls out his palmeiras credit card* "you know that mercadinho across the street? Go buy 6 redbulls" me: "tá certo pres"

- the best part of the week was hands down Vinícius and Pedro's baptism!! It was literally the best thing asking Pedro why baptism was important and he goes "it connects us to God". Literally just about melted.

- I studied a great talk this week called "A Summer with Great Aunt Rose" by Elder Utchdorf. And in the story he tells, great aunt rose quotes a poem. She says "Forever is composed of nows". I'm learning day by day that we don't have control of anything except for what is in the now. So here's to every now that I have in the Bahia, and trying to fill as many of them as I can with joy.

life is good:)
love you all
sister max
