this week in highlights:

- Hospital trip with my comp. Do not eat tamarindo. 

- Did a split in Camaçari 1!

- This house has some severe adhd and even the bishop is asking if we've taken our meds

- the nursing application is SUBMITTED

- baptism fell through last minute. This is just basically classic now.

- Saturday was rough. Our friend Monica decided that she didn't want to get baptized, then wouldn't let us come visit her. As we were walking in the streets when everything had fallen through, a cute member saw us and immediately invited us over. We visited them, and during our visit we got a text from another friend Isabela saying that she would come to church on Sunday! She actually came, already had a BoM and said she's bringing her fambam next week!!

- We also got to visit our elect family who we figured out is legally married (that's a rarity). And now they've just gotta feel confident enough to get into the water!!

- "Serve with all your heart, might, mind, and strength" D&C 4

- We have been putting everything into the work here in Nova Vitoria. And it's been soooo good. Sometimes I get down that our outward results don't show it as much, but I know that the Lord knows. And I know that He has molded people's hearts and mine as I have given everything completely over to Him.

Welcome to Bahia

  highlights!!! - last p-day I was talking with an elder in my mission in our chapel who is from Brazil. We were just chatting when we hear gunshots outside. He then goes "welcome to Bahia". The members told me that when I see a person with a gun, i just say "arma bonita" (beautiful gun) and keep walking, so yep, here we go - one day when we were out tracking we were hungry so we got some açai from this cute little store. Lets just say we got the owner and his family's phone number so hopefully we can teach them and get free açai hehe - we take basically the same road everyday into the main neighborhood of our area. And one day on this road, we saw a cute little old lady out on her porch with some grandkids. We went up and started talking to her, and she was soooo sweet. She even gave us popsicles. We got her number and told her we would come back the next day. So we come back the next day, same thing, super sweet and free popsicles. We pass by again on our way ...

Job's Not Finished

Job's finished? Job's not finished.  We're working até o pozinho and got some serious miracles cooking for the next few weeks.  - Kaike! Pray for Kaike! - Ariane! Pray for Ariane!  - had my last zone conference and had to give my last testimony to the mission! Very bittersweet! - President took everyone who is finishing their mission this transfer to a Bahia soccer game, which included but was not limited to VIP tickets, unlimited free food, and watching president cheer silently for the opposing team. That's all I got for now, but as for a spiritual thought: I've been thinking a lot recently about one of the Savior's encounters with the Apostles after His resurrection. Smile and Wave

  HOLY CRAP SHE'S ACTUALLY IN SALVADOR This week has been craaazzzyyy, let me tell ya. I'm currently living in an apartment with 5 sisters, and we have 1 phone, so not too much time, but I'll tell you the good stuff - HIGHLIGHTSSSSS So the church really just decided to throw a curve ball and change it all up over here. 1) new preach my gospel - updated on our literal last day at the ctm, so we've got to learn it all again. 2) the day I arrived in my mission, I learned that it is no longer Salvador south, but now just Salvador. Ill send a pic of the new boundaries, but just know that it changed a lot, like a lot. Which means that the past 4 days have been crazy with missionaries getting reassigned and all. However, this means that the Salvador temple which should be done in about a year will be in my mission which is exciting!! My area!!! I'm currently serving in Parque da Cidade! Its an area right in the city on the coast and the chapel is right on the beach hehe. I...
