sister vs. transformer
let's goooooooooo:
- had hospital trip #2 because Sister Barbosa cut her head open on a semitruck. And after 3 hours in the ER without being seen, the president's wife told us to leave and do our own false stitch. It was a fun adventure of a day.- had to say goodbye to my friends from Nova Vitoria, which was sad. But I left them all with some real American cookies.
- On Wednesday I headed.... back to Dias Davila?! It's the city I served in exactly 1 year ago. On our first walk to the grocery store, I saw people that I knew, so this is going to be fun. The only catch-up is that now I'm in the other, rival ward. Wish me luck.
-We found Guilherme out of the blue, which was a miracle, because after his baptism last year, he fell off the map.
Last week I got "asked" to talk in church Saturday night about sacrifice. Our zone has had a manta these past few weeks of "How bad do you want it?" What am I willing to do and sacrifice for the Lord? I thought about all the things the Lord asks us to sacrifice, our time, talents, and energy. All of this adds up to sacrificing our very heart, giving up the natural man inside of us.
Matthew 10:39 "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."
I know that Christ sacrificed everything for us. He paid the full price, and our small and simple sacrifices that we give to Him will never repay the debt, but line upon line these sacrifices will help us to lose our life in the service of the Lord, thus finding our true identity and true joy.
life is good :)
love you all
