Velhinhos Fofinhos

This weeeeeek!

some fun little highlights for y'all:

- splits with Sister Do Carmo in Camacari!

- English classes!

- did a chapel open house in between conference sessions and between yelling "oi" to everyone in their cars, and giving out panflets to the garbage truck drivers, an inactive member stopped and told us to come visit him! milagres!

- elections are officially over! thank the high heavens! no more nonstop flyers and candidate musiquinha at all hours of the day. Now the Bahians can go back to their normal paredãos and find new excuses to not have time for us.

- ok, let's just say that conference was bomb. Like wow guys. I could go on and on. But questions were answered, revelation was received, and spirits were changed! Oh gloria!

- We will have to go back and watch a few talks though, because at one point a member's drunk husband was trying to tell us to eat more churrasco 🫠

- one of my favorite talks from conference was Sister Kristin M. Yee's. She shared about a painting of the Savior she did, and during the process, she thought she had messed it all up. She prayed and begged the Lord for help and it turned out better than she could have ever imagined. In our lives, if we plead for His help to overcome our mistakes and weaknesses, He can transform us. His Atonement can make us better than we could have ever imagined! He lives! And because He lives, we can have faith and hope!!

life is good:)
love you all
